In the summer of 2007 my sister was killed in a tragic car accident. There was no time to say good-bye or I love you, to share stories from our childhood or for her to give me advice on how to become a woman. After the call from the hospital I laid lifeless on the kitchen floor, unable to do anything but weep and regret – a movie of memories we could have had played on repeat in my mind. From that day on I vowed never to live my life with regrets – to tell my mom I love her everyday, to seize each opportunity, to enjoy each day I can stroll in the sun and let my hair blow in the breeze.
Instead of waiting for tragedy to awaken us, it’s my aspiration to inspire you to do all the things you’ve always wanted. I hope you live without regrets!
